E-RNAi provides multiple ways to design independent RNAi reagents:
- The sequence of a previously designed reagent can be submitted in the process of designing a new reagent (in the settings section). E-RNAi will exclude this sequence during the design. Details are available here.
- E-RNAi can be queried with multiple sequences for one run, so e.g. multiple exons of the same transcript can be queried and the resulting designs will be independent. Similarly, after querying E-RNAi with a sequence identifier, all annotated exon sequences for this gene are shown. Multiple (independent) sequences can be selected resulting in independent designs. More information is available here.
- The option to submit sequences from GBrowse to E-RNAi allows a precise selection of potential target sequences. Multiple, independent sequences can be submitted resulting in independent designs. More information is available here.
